Year 10 IB Link: An Entry Point To The Senior IB Diploma Program
About The IB Link
The Year 10 IB Link program has been developed as an entry point for Alamanda & Saltwater P-9 College students seeking to continue their IB education. Existing Werribee SC students can also join the IB Link for year 10.
The program is intended for students wishing to undertake the Senior IB Diploma Programme in years 11 and 12 at Werribee Secondary College.
IB-Link focuses on enquiry based assessments, extended investigations and the community. It bridges the gap between students MYP (Middle Years) and DP (Diploma Programme) learning journeys.

Alamanda or Saltwater College families considering the Year 10 IB Link program at Werribee Secondary College can find the application details below.
Program Applications
Only Alamanda or Saltwater P-9 College students are eligible to apply for the IB Link Program.
If there is an excess of applications, admission to the program is conditional upon:
- There being vacancies at the year level.
- Having achieved the academic standards required.
- Submitting the completed application by the closing date.
- Attendance at pre-selection interview.
Applications for IB Link require copies of:
- Complete semester 1 & 2 reports for the previous year.
- Year 7 NAPLAN results (Y9 results may also be requested).
Your child is asked to provide a written response within the application form.

Alamanda and Saltwater students who enter the Werribee Secondary College Year 10 IB Link program must commit to studying the IBDP in years 11 & 12. Please note that charges apply for the IB program which are outlined in our Parent Payment Arrangements information. Charges are subject to change annually.

My child attends a school other than Alamanda or Saltwater, can we apply for IB Link?
Only Alamanda & Saltwater P-9 College students are eligible to apply for the IB-Link (following the program application information provided above). Existing Werribee SC students will learn more about the IB Link pathway in year 9 when preparing for their year 10 subject selection. If your child is not a current student at one of these schools you will need to contact the Assistant Principal to discuss your eligibility to apply for IB-Link.
How do I apply for IB Link for future years?
As current test results and reports are required to enter the program, we only accept registrations/applications for the following school year.
