YEAR 7 TRANSITION DAY

Tuesday 10th December 2024 is the Statewide Transition Day for students commencing year 7 in 2025.

This day enables grade 6 students, who have enrolled at our college for 2025, to come and experience a day on-site.

It is an important day as it helps to ease the nerves of moving to a new school. Students meet some of their teachers, learn where things are, and have the opportunity to make new friends.

Those attending should follow any specific instructions provided from their Primary School.
In general, the details of the day are as follows:

• Meet at the front of the school (outside the gym) at 8.45am (staff will be present to meet you).
• There will be a BBQ lunch provided for students (including halal and vegetarian options), but students can bring their own lunch if preferred (canteen closed).
• Students should be dressed in their full Primary School uniform.
• Students should bring a pen and paper/notebook.

Parents are welcome to attend a morning tea hosted by our Parents & Friends Association in the college library after drop-off in the morning.

If you are yet to purchase a lock for your child’s locker for 2025, you can also do this at the front office on this day.

The day will conclude at 3.04pm.
