COLLEGE ENROLMENT ZONE
Due to a high demand for places, new enrolments at Werribee Secondary College can only be guaranteed for students whose permanent residence is within the College’s zoned area.
Please check your local school zoning using the Find My School online tool provided by the Department of Education and available on this page.
For more information on school zones please click here.
Spaces for younger siblings of currently enrolled students will be considered where places are available at the requested year level. This is in line with the Victorian Department of Education’s Priority Order of Placement.
ENROLMENT INFORMATION
Families within our school zone wishing to make an application should follow the relevant information below:
GRADE 6 TO YEAR 7 TRANSITION
All enrolments at our College must reside within our school zone.
For parents seeking to enrol their child from Grade 6 in to Year 7, it is essential that they follow the enrolment protocols which are available from their child’s Primary School.
Further information is available below:
Your child’s Government Primary School will provide you with guidance on how to access the Year 7 Placement Information Pack and application form .
You must complete and return your placement form to your Primary School within the requested placement timeline. This is generally during term 2 of the school year.
In term 3, placements are confirmed by schools and you will then begin the enrolment process. Until the enrolment process begins, all communication remains with your child’s Primary School.
Those looking to enter our Select Entry Learning Program (SELP) for high academic achievers must follow the same above placement process. Further information is then provided with enrolment offers.
YEAR 7 ENROLMENTS OUTSIDE OF TRANSITION TIME:
To apply for a year 7 enrolment outside of the normal transition time (a late enrolment or a mid-year transfer), please complete the below form and return it to us along with the required supporting documents.
